Update on Linc's ear. Please keep him in your prayers.

Don't know how much you know/remember, but Linc has a 30% hearing loss in his left ear. He has for the past 4 years. The doctor who did his physical this year decided to check into it some more, and sent him to our local audiologist. She was concerned enough to send him to Landstuhl, about 90 miles away for some extensive testing. We met with his ENT, and basically he said that it is one of two things. Linc either has a tumor growing on the nerve in his ear canal or else there is a problem with the inner ear tubes. But the ENT is leaning toward it being a tumor because normally if it were the tubes, he should have hearing loss in both ears, not one. If it is a tumor, most likely it's benign, and they usually just keep an eye on it, until it gets too big, then they end up going in and removing it. But either way we are really concerned about it. Linc is especially taking this hard since his aunt had a brain tumor removed a little over a year ago, and we watched a good friend die of cancer a couple of years ago. Our friend was the same age that Linc is now.

Linc goes in to have a test done on the tubes in his ears July 9th, and then the MRI is July 11th. If you guys could please keep him in your prayers/good thoughts, we would really appreciate it. Thanks everyone.

Oh, and there is nothing else really new on the homefront. This is taking up a large part of our time. Linc has been spending a lot of time working on his motorcycle to destress. Boys are still growing like weeds, and as mouthy/bossy as ever. :) We are all safe and healthy, and that's all that matters. :)
