We are just full of bad luck these past couple of months...

So as most of you know, we've had our fair share of bad luck these last few months.  Between surgery scares with this pregnancy, and my Dad passing away and the emergency leave with that, 3 cars breaking down... yes, I said 3.  And a whole bunch more since we got home from Utah.  Our "reliable" car has cost us over $3500 in the past two months... the majority of that just last week.  We replaced the water pump, timing belts, radiator, thermostat, and front differential all in one go.  It's been extremely frustrating to say the least.  Especially when my husband HAS to show up to work, and we no longer live near a shuttle for him to take.  So we got our car back on Thursday last week, and then I was put on a medication for an infection and had an allergic reaction to it today.  So we've spent the majority of the day at the hospital, making sure everything is okay with the baby and getting my swollen nose and red face under control. 

So after all of this, I take Linc back to work and then a cement barrier and I decide to become best friends... all down the right side of my car.  So the car is going to the shop AGAIN and that will be another $500 we have to dish out the same time as birthday and Christmas for the boys... :P

So 2007 has not liked our family, and I'm hoping for a calm and uneventful 2008.  Cross your fingers for us.  :)  At least we're able to laugh about it....
